Several options for insurance and health care are available for Omaha Public Schools students.
Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) provides free and low-cost health care coverage for children of families who meet income eligibility.
Quality Coverage, Comprehensive Benefits – Coverage is affordable, and high quality. CHIP covers a wide range of benefits, including regular preventive care check-ups, immunizations, treatment for illness/injury, doctor and dental visits, vision screenings, prescriptions and more.

Student Accident Insurance is offered by K&K Insurance Group.
- Enroll Now select K12 Voluntary. Click Go.
- Select Current School Year.
- School District or School Name: OPS (or your child’s school name)
- School State: Nebraska
- Pick your child’s school and complete required information and coverage requested.
