Campus Parent - Infinite Campus

Infinite Campus is used by Omaha Public Schools to safely and securely store student information and data. The parent account for Infinite Campus is called Campus Parent, formerly referred to as the Parent Portal. Information like parent contact information, grades, attendance, and more are stored here. Parents can log in to Campus Parent to access this information. For specific questions about Campus Parent, please contact your child's school.

What is the Campus Parent?
Campus Parent, part of the Omaha Public Schools’ student information system, allows parents and guardians to monitor their children's academic progress online. Using the internet, parents are able to log in and view district and school announcements, schedules, current and final grades, missing assignments, attendance, immunization records, and account statements. Parents are also able to email teachers and print a variety of reports including IEPs, current progress reports, current report cards, and unofficial transcripts. At the beginning of each school year, parents are asked to update their family’s information via Campus Parent.

Why should parents use Campus Parent?
Campus Parent is a powerful tool for staying connected to your child’s education across all Omaha Public Schools, from kindergarten through 12th grade. With one account, you will have consistent and real-time access to grades, attendance, and assignments no matter which OPS school your child attends. This unified platform ensures you stay informed and engaged throughout their entire K-12 journey, making it easier to support their success every step of the way.

I don't have an account. How can I sign up?
We invite each parent who is authorized to access student information to sign up for Campus Parent. Here are the steps:
1. Ensure you have a valid email address.
2. Request an activation key* for Campus Parent from your child’s school. If you have more than one child in Omaha Public Schools, you only need to request an activation key from one of their schools.
*Activation keys are also sent via email several times a year. 3. Click on “New User?” on the Campus Parent login page to enter the activation key.

May we have one account for both parents?
Each parent who is authorized to access student information can have their own Campus Parent account. This ensures secure, personalized access to your child’s academic progress, attendance, and school updates across all schools they attend in Omaha Public Schools.

When will student’s attendance records be available?
Attendance records are available on Campus Parent as soon as the teacher enters and saves attendance. If you have questions about your child’s attendance, contact the school’s attendance office.

When will a student's final grades and credits earned for a term be available on the portal?
Your child’s unofficial grades will be available in the teacher’s grade book. Final grades and credits earned are generally available two weeks after the end of a term. At that time they will be available on the student’s unofficial transcript.

Will colleges accept a student’s transcript from the portal?
When an organization requests an official transcript, you must request a transcript from the child’s high school or from Student Information Services.

I already have an account and signed up in previous years. Do I sign up again?
No. If you already have an account, you do not need to sign up again. Your Campus Parent account is available for your child’s entire school career in the Omaha Public Schools.

What if I have forgotten my username or password?
If you have forgotten your username, click on the “Forgot Username?” link on the Campus Parent login page. You will be asked for your email address and your username will be sent to that mailbox.
If you have forgotten your password, click on the “Forgot Password?” link on the Campus Parent login page. You will be asked for your email address and a link to reset your password will be sent to that mailbox.

I have more than one student. Do I need a separate account for each student?
No, one account is all you need. Parents authorized to access student information will see all their students, regardless of age or school, in a single Campus Parent account.

What if I have more questions about the portal or need assistance?
Contact your student’s school to ask any questions about Campus Parent.

Can my student sign up for their own account?
Students automatically have a Campus Student account, so no sign up is required.

How can I be notified of updates to my student's attendance, grades, etc?
You can receive notifications through the Campus Parent account by enabling alerts in your account settings. This feature is available in both the app and browser versions, keeping you updated on attendance, grades, assignments, and more in real time.
