My Story Starts Here

  • Jaden Curtis SayersI have enjoyed taking Forensic Science 1-2, Forensic Science 3-4 and Forensic Science 5-6. I learned that I do not have the stomach for crime scenes, but I gained a better understanding about careers in the criminal justice field and legal system. I plan to pursue a career as a lawyer. I will reach my goals and become successful because of what I have learned in my pathway at Northwest.

  • Emily TravisThe Air and Space Academy is great because there is not just one path you can take. You can decide what you want to do and there are many different pathways. I wanted to fly, but now I am working on flying drones. Through direct contact with pilots, I get to learn how the job really works and what I need to do to get there.

  • Adan Sanchez-BarreraTaking Information Technology classes since freshman year was the best choice I could have made. They helped me realize how important technology is and prepared me for college. Taking these classes helped me figure out that I wanted to study cybersecurity in college.

  • Moo HtooThe Health Academy prepared me for my nursing career, with classes like medical chemistry, medical biology, intro to health, and advanced placement biology. I’m involved in HOSA, which is a really great student club, especially for people pursuing a career in the medical field. I decided to join the Army because it has always been a dream to serve my country. As I serve part-time in the Army, I will be pursuing my nursing career.
