Curriculum and Instruction Support
-
Curriculum and Instruction Support (CIS) leads and develops curriculum for all Omaha Public Schools students ages birth to 21. Our district believes every student should receive a high-quality experience that pushes them to excel. We work with schools to provide professional learning that focuses on best practices that impact student learning. All curriculum is developed to be consistent across all schools and follow state standards.
We are committed to students attaining the skills of the Omaha Public Schools Portrait of a Graduate. Innovator, collaborator, civic & global contributor, resilient achiever, communicator and critical thinker – are essential to a student's success in the future.
Our department consists of elementary and secondary education, special education, early childhood and English learners. Reach out to Curriculum and Instruction Support at (531) 299-0243.
