On Monday, March 7, Omaha Public Schools staff will present a proposed update to ESSER spending at the Board of Education Meeting. The plan shifts funding based on updated identified needs and goals of our district.

Stakeholders have the opportunity to provide feedback on this plan in three ways:

  1. Community Engagement Session Register to attend an in-person feedback session held on Thursday, March 3 at 6 p.m. in the Board Room of the Teacher Administrative Center.
  2. During the March 7 Board of Education Meeting - Individuals may provide public comment during the Board of Education meeting, prior to the Board’s approval. The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Teacher Administrative Center.
  3. Share comments via email after viewing the proposed amendments on the website.

This is the proposed update to ESSER funding, pending stakeholder feedback, Board of Education approval and Nebraska Department of Education approval.
