If you qualify for Free/Reduced lunch for the 2021-2022 school year, the Access College Early Grant (ACE) will cover up to 3 courses. You will need to apply for this scholarship online and have a PDF of your qualification letter from Nutrition Services.
To qualify for the scholarship, the student or student's family must be approved to participate in one of the federal need-based government programs listed or have experienced an extreme hardship that affects family income - Free or Reduced Price Lunch Program, Supplemental Security Income, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Special Supplemental Assistance Program (WIC). The student must provide documentation, from their high school, verifying approval to participate in the program or of the hardship.
If you are applying for courses at multiple colleges/universities, you will apply for the ACE for each university, and each semester if the course is offered in the fall/spring. You must make sure that you fill out all of the information in the ACE application and it must be approved in order for your award to be finalized. For more information regarding the ACE Scholarship, please see Mrs. Hope Smejkal in the Counselor’s Office or the ACE Scholarship website.
