8th grader, Kenny M. and 7th grader Naazik B-T. competed at this year's "Living the Dream" contest in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Middle school and high school students from around Omaha gathered to compete and celebrate Dr. King's life. Kenny took first place in vocal performance and won the overall grand prize.

Naazik won second place in her category.
