Ms. Dionne Kirksey
Ms. Kirksey has been with the Omaha Public Schools since August of 1990. While in Omaha Public Schools, she has been at King Science & Technology Magnet Middle School, South High School, the TAC building in the office of Student Community Services, and finally, began at Central High in August of 2000. Ms. Kirksey started out at Central High as an Assistant Principal/Activities Director and transitioned to Head Principal in August 2021. Prior to becoming an Eagle, Ms. Kirksey served as a Social Sciences teacher, a Student Community Specialist, and a Student Personnel Assistant Intern. Her wealth of student, family, and community experience is what makes Ms. Kirksey a strong Eagle leader at Central High School. In her time outside of school, she enjoys live musical events and spending time with friends and family. In her role as principal, Ms. Kirksey is responsible for advocating for students, guiding staff, and collaborating with parents and the community, all for the best education of young people who are navigating through high school. Every day is a restart. Each day is a day to try again and to get better. Being the principal of Central High School is an honor and privilege.

Ms. Amy Ellis
I am Amy Ellis, the Assistant Principal. I am the data administrator, which means I create the student and teacher schedules, monitor grades and post grades and send them to parents, help students with enrolling and registering for classes, help students increase their skills, and choose habits that are healthy.
BACKGROUND AND EDUCATION
I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska. I love Omaha and all it has to offer. I attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in the area of Family and Consumer Sciences Education in 1994. I began teaching at Burke High School in 1995 as a Family and Consumer Science Teacher. In 1996, I began my graduate degree at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. In 1998, I graduated with a master's in administration and supervision.
I left Omaha Public Schools to teach abroad in England for two years before returning to Burke High School for another year. I began using my administration degree in 2001 as a student personnel assistant at the TAC building. In 2004, I was hired to be the Assistant Principal at Bryan Middle School and then was asked to help open Davis Middle School in 2013.

Mr. Rob Locken
Mr. Locken has been with the Omaha Public Schools since August of 2001, but his career started in 1998 in Wiley, Colorado. While in Omaha Public Schools, Mr. Locken has served as a Physical Education teacher, an assistant track coach, an assistant football coach, a Dean of Students, and an Assistant Principal/Athletic Director. In his seven years at Central, he has been a PE teacher, assistant track coach, assistant football coach, and his current position is Assistant Principal/Athletic Director. He has also served at Bryan Middle School and Bryan High School. Additionally, Mr. Locken is the person to go to at Central if you have questions regarding parking, busing, or getting involved in athletics. In his time outside of school, Mr. Locken enjoys spending time with friends and family, attending his two children's clubs and athletics, and spending time outdoors. He is a proud Central Eagle staff member and truly enjoys the opportunity to work with Central High students and families.

Ms. Jodi Dierks
Ms. Dierks has been with the Omaha Public Schools since August of 1999. In her time with Omaha Public Schools, she has served as a Special Education teacher, Business Marketing Information Technology (BMIT) teacher, BMIT department chair, assistant athletic director, head volleyball coach, assistant track coach, assistant golf coach, and her current position of Assistant Principal/Activities Director. All roles have been at Central High School. In her time outside of school, she enjoys traveling, working out, and spending time with her family, friends, and many dogs. Ms. Dierks had the opportunity to grow professionally at Central High. She truly loves and feels fortunate to be an Eagle and to be able to build positive relationships with students and staff. She loves to tell students that she has been at Central since before they were born! Seeing students grow into young adults during the four years of high school is great, but watching them go on to success in life beyond high school is the best part of the job.
