    Mon 10/20

    · Westview High School is proud to take part in the 26th Annual African American History Challenge, a national competition that celebrates African American history and culture and offers scholarships and prizes for participants!This year’s study materials include Black History 365: An Account of American History and In Their Own Image: Artifacts from the Great Plains Black History Museum.All interested students should contact Ms. Honig or Ms. Wilkinson, who will be coaching Westview’s team. The first review session is Saturday, October 25th, and the final competition will be held on Saturday, February 7th, 2026 at the OPS TAC building. Don’t miss this chance to learn, compete, and represent Westview!

    · JROTC is partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive on October 24, if you are 16 and older and want to donate , there will be a table at all lunch period with more information and forms to fill out. If you have a completed form, turn into a JROTC Cadet, CSM Griffith or Major Bauer.

    · Hey Westview on Nov. 4th we are having auditions for Westview's Got Talent. So all you dancers, singers, rappers, comedians come out and showcase your talent. For more details and register during your lunch period or see Mr Busby.

    · Interested in playing men’s volleyball? On Wednesday October 22nd there will be an informational meeting. It will be right after school, at 3:15p in Studio 114. See Coach Bray-Johnson with questions.

    · Every Tuesday, College Prep Lab will be held in the Counseling center from 3:15 - 5:00pm. No appointment necessary. If you need help with: FAFSA, College applications, signing up to take the ACT, scholarships, or ordering your cap and gown... WE CAN HELP!

    · For any Girls interested in wrestling this year - there will be a Preseason Meeting during Wolverine Wrap-Up on Friday in the GYM. If you have any questions - email or see Coach Wolfe in Studio 216.

    · Attention 9th graders: iPad distribution will take place during Wolverine Wrap Up on Wednesday and Thursday. You will go with your Wolverine Wrap Up class on your designated day. To receive your new iPad, you must bring your current iPad and charger. Remember, you’re expected to bring your iPad to school every day.
