Buena Vista High School is proud to offer the Freshman Academy and two pathways.  All 9th graders participate in the Freshman Academy.  

The Health and Education Pathway features themes in the areas of Human Performance, Behavioral Health and Teaching as a Profession.  

The SMART Technology Pathway features themes in the areas of Cybersecurity, Software and Application Development, Information Technology, Mechatronics, Automation and Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality and Nanotechnology.
