Buena Vista Freshman Academy
-
Buena Vista recognizes the important transition from middle school to high school. All 9th grade Bison enter their high school journey as a member of one of three Freshman Academies: Team Endurance, Team Unity, or Team Strength. Belonging to a freshman team means students will receive focused attention of a small group of teachers who work together to ensure each student’s success. In each freshman class, students will focus on the skills needed to be successful in high school and beyond.
During their 9th grade year, Bison will also explore Buena Vista’s college and career pathways through their Freshman Seminar course. During their freshman year, students will select a pathway that suits their interests and aspirations. Guided by teachers and peers alike, our Freshman Academy students are building a solid foundation for their lives.
