Enrichment & After-School Programming
-
Enrichment after-school programming is an important extension of every student's day.
On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from September to May, students have the opportunity to choose from a wide variety of classes. Classes are offered to promote our extra value standards: Technology, Leadership, and Communication, as well as S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math). Current Wilson Focus staff members and community partners provide engaging opportunities for each student.
Students receive a snack at 3:30 P.M. followed by their enrichment classes from 3:40-4:30 P.M. School dismisses at 4:30 P.M. on enrichment days.
There are four sessions throughout the school year, 6–7 weeks each. These classes give all students the opportunity to explore different interests and meet other schoolmates and staff within the school. We encourage students to make it a goal to try new classes each session for opportunities to expand their life experiences.
