Hello! I am Lisa Tingelhoff and serve as the Assistant Principal/Data Processor for Lewis and Clark. I have been at Lewis and Clark since 2002. I have served Lewis and Clark as a science teacher, the Instructional Facilitator and International Baccalaureate Coordinator, as well as Assistant Principal. My husband, Scott and I have three daughters; Macy, Haddie and Phoebe. I am passionate about serving the Lewis and Clark Community.
20 of my 30 years in OPS have been spent at Lewis & Clark. I spent 3 years as the Dean of Students and then was lucky enough to get the position of Activities Director.
I've spent 17 years in my current position, proudly working with amazing teachers, sponsors, coaches, and students to create programs that set the standard for achievement and success in OPS.
There is no better place to be than Lewis & Clark. Our "Tradition of Excellence" continues because the people here are committed to and care deeply about the youth that they serve. Our students, and the lives they lead after leaving Lewis & Clark are proof of that.
I have been an Omaha Public Schools employee for almost eighteen years. Seventeen of them have been at Marrs Middle School as a Language Arts Teacher. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education from Iowa State University. During my years in OPS, I received my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Peru State, and an endorsement in English is a Second Language from Concordia University. Recently, I finished my Educational Administrator's Certificate from Wayne State as well. As an administrator in OPS, I try to bring an open mind and a positive attitude into the building every day. It's my job to establish high expectations for students, and to provide a safe learning environment from the time students enter the building until the time students dismiss.
