Omaha Public Schools works closely with local businesses in an Adopt-A-School program. The school and the businesses work together by sharing knowledge and activities. Dr. J.P. Lord School's partners include:

These partners have been generous in providing treats, equipment, special activities, and fundraising events for our school. In return, partners are invited to our school and social activities. We open the school facilities for their needs, providing an observation site and hands-on experiences for students pursuing careers in medicine. The partners receive student artwork periodically to use as decorations for offices and functions. We at J. P. Lord School are proud to be associated with these fine partners.
