Educators of the Week!

Our Educators of the Week are Spanish teacher Mr. Ricardo Hernandez and Math teacher Ms. Melinda Flowers

They received gift cards and a week with the Championship Belt. Their names will also be submitted for the Employee of the Month, which comes with the coveted parking spot next to Principal CK. Congrats to you both.

"Mr. Hernandez has dedicated his teaching career of 26 years to the students at Bryan High School. He has seen many changes over the years, yet one thing has remained the same--his commitment to students. At school, the students are his priority, and he makes sure they have the opportunity to learn and grow as scholars, individuals, and athletes each and every day. Our school is better because of him. "Ms. Flowers works hard to support her students in learning math. She goes above and beyond by working with students in tutoring, making these students feel welcome and consistently working with students who struggle in math while maintaining a positive attitude. She is also a colleague who will give it to you straight in such a helpful and positive way. She is generous with lending her time and effort to support initiatives in the building that will aid in students' success. Whether it's shop talk or not, she's always somebody I come away from a conversation with feeling better."
