PRINCIPAL

Mr. Andrew Karmazin has been principal of Bryan Middle School since 2020. Mr. Karmazin started in the Omaha Public Schools in 2006 and has served as a science teacher, International Baccalaureate Coordinator, Academic Data Representative, Summer School Principal, Dean of Students, Instructional Facilitator, School Support Liaison, Program Director of the expelled students program at Parrish, and Principal. 

ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL/DATA ADMINISTRATOR

Dr. Clark has worked with students and families of Omaha Public Schools since 2001. In the past, she has served in a variety of positions including ELA and Math Teacher, Transition Room Facilitator, Counselor, and Dean of Students. Dr. Clark earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education at Midland University. She received both her Masters in Counseling and Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is excited to continue her journey at Bryan Middle School.

ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL/ACTIVITY AND ATHLETIC DIRECTOR 

Mr. Phillip Taylor has over 30 years of experience in the education field, mainly within the Omaha Public Schools.  You can find Mr. Taylor in the classroom or in an athletic/activity related area eagerly supporting staff, students, or families.  Mr. Taylor takes great pride in the ability to serve the Omaha Public Schools each and every day.

DEAN OF STUDENTS

Mrs. Burkholder was raised in Miami, Florida.  She earned her Bachelor's degree from Florida International University and her Master's degree in Administration from Concordia College. Mrs. Burkholder has worked for the Omaha Public Schools in the Accelere program at Blackburn Alternative School and as a Dual-Language Social Studies teacher at South High School.  She is currently Dean of Students at Bryan Middle School.  She enjoys arts and crafts, planning parties for friends and families, and curling up to read with a cup of coffee.

DEAN OF STUDENTS

Mrs. Karrie Goff has been in education for 20 years. She came to Bryan Middle School from Pawnee Elementary where she taught both 5th and 6th grades. Mrs. Goff was born and raised in Texas where she taught elementary school for 10 years prior to moving to Omaha. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Texas State University and her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Doane University.  Mrs. Goff is proud to be part of such a wonderful community at Bryan Middle School.  Go Bears!

INSTRUCTIONAL FACILITATOR

Ms. Jessica Korth has served as the Bryan Middle School instructional facilitator since 2020.Ms. Korth started with Omaha Public Schools in 1999. She became a mathematics teacher at Bryan Middle School in 2001. Ms. Korth is a National Board Certified Teacher in Mathematics with a Master's Degree in the Art of Teaching Mathematics and a Master's Degree in Education-Teaching and Leadership. She also works as the school's Academic Data Representative.
