OUR PRINCIPAL

A Welcome Message from the Principal.....

Welcome to the Bryan Middle School webpage and to the 2020-2021 school year. I am beginning my 1st year as Principal of Bryan Middle and I am proud to serve our Bryan Middle staff, students, parents, and community.

We hope that this webpage will assist you in keeping up with all of the outstanding activities and programs that are constantly on-going throughout the school year. Our motto is BEAR P.R.I.D.E. (Peers Respecting Individuality, Diversity, and Excellence). Our mission is to create high school readiness through a rigorous and respectful learning environment. We are proud of our school and strive to provide the best educational experience possible for all of our students.

We have an "open door" here at BMS and encourage you to make a difference in your child’s education by building good relationships with your child's teachers and other staff members. Take an active role in your child's education by creating an environment at home that stresses the value of education and provides a quiet place for reading or studying.

Close cooperation between the home and school is essential to promote the best interests of our students. Our goal is to provide an outstanding education and environment that will prepare our students for high school and beyond. We need your help, support, and involvement. We encourage and welcome your visit.

As you can see, we just completed a $19 million dollar renovation this year. It has been 54 years since our building has received upgrades and we now have updated classrooms, upgrades, and improvements to our learning environment.  We are also excited about our partnership with The Boys and Girls Club and the addition of a Teen Center which opened in  August of 2019. Great things are happening at Bryan Middle! Great Futures Start Here!

We are constantly striving to improve our school and value the input of our students, parents, and community. Please feel free to visit Bryan Middle School, call the school at 531-299-2300 or contact us through this website. We have also established twitter @OPS_BryanMiddle and facebook pages to help us promote the great things happening at Bryan Middle School. Please check those resources out as well.
