PRINCIPAL

I feel at home being a Central Park Cougar!  I grew up 6 blocks from Central Park and drive past my childhood home to and from school each day. My father was a long-time teacher and coach at Omaha North High School prior to retiring in the early 2000’s. My mother worked as a Social Worker in the North Omaha Community for over 20 years.  I began my teaching career in 1998 with the Omaha Public Schools.  In 2010, I worked as a Dean of Students for four years at Burke High School.  I transitioned to administration serving as an Assistant Principal at Burke High School.  In 2022, I was able to return to my old neighborhood and serve as Principal at Central Park Elementary!

Serving the Omaha Public Schools has been a truly amazing opportunity. My children have attended multiple elementary, middle and high schools and have all graduated from the Omaha Public Schools. I look forward to leading Central Park while providing a safe, nurturing, and challenging environment for students to grow while partnering with families and community members.
