This Gateway to College program is a partnership between Omaha Public Schools, Metropolitan Community College and Achieving the Dream.

Through Gateway to College, students who are behind in credits or out of school can complete their high school diploma on a college campus while earning college credits. This program is a way to retain or re-engage students who are at risk of not graduating on time or disconnected from school.  

Gateway to College is a second chance for students to become connected to a college and gain the skills needed to achieve post-secondary success.  With personalized support from a student success coach, Gateway students overcome obstacles, improve attendance, increase their GPA's, and enroll in college at higher rates than their peers.
