Being a part of the King Science OPS Magnet program will expand opportunities, awareness and knowledge in Science, Technology as well as all of the traditional courses at the 5th and 6th grade level.

Being selected through the competitive lottery process to attend a magnet school means students have the advantage of school options for later grades that other students do not. As a selected magnet student, you will be able to continue the Magnet Pathway throughout your OPS career.
