Cap and Gown: 

All Seniors MUST have a cap and gown in order to participate in commencement. If you have not ordered a package, you will need to order it immediately from Jostens.com 

This year all seniors will receive a Bryan High sash to wear. Students will not be allowed to provide and wear their own sashes. Additional academic sashes provided include National Honor Society, HACE Excellence, 5A Achievement and NICE beading. Do not send a personal sash with your student. 

 Restricted Items at Graduation:
Please be aware that the Baxter Arena does not allow outside food/drink, balloons, vases, signs, artificial noise-makers, alcohol, drugs, or any smoking materials (cigarettes, E-cigs, vaporizing pens/vapes) in the arena. Arena security will require anyone bringing these items in to return to the parking lot to leave them in their vehicle. Baxter will be implementing the clear bag policy for all guests.

These are important dates for senior students and parents/guardians for the remainder of the year: 

March 17-21: Spring Break, No School 

April 8, Tuesday: ACT, No school for Seniors 

May 7-8, Wednesday and Thursday: Senior Final Exams 

May 8, Thursday: Honors Night 6-7:30 pm, Bryan High Gymnasium 

May 9, Friday: Seniors’ Last Day of Classes 

May 19, Friday: Senior Fun Day, Cap & Gown Distribution, 10:30 am - 1:30 pm

May 19, Monday: Graduation Rehearsal, 8:30am 

May 19, Monday: Graduation 7 pm, seniors report 5:30pm 

Friday, May 9, 2025: CAP/GOWN DISTRIBUTION  10:30 am, Bryan High School 

Seniors will report to the Bryan High Aux Gym for senior checkout to return any remaining materials and devices, pay any remaining fines, and pickup cap & gown. Cookout lunch will be provided at the softball fields. Join us for games and fun as your senior send-off!

Monday, May 19, 2025: GRADUATION REHEARSAL 8:30 am, Baxter Arena, 67^th & Center 

SENIORS ONLY. No guests will be allowed. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU BE IN ATTENDANCE AND ON TIME. If you do not attend practice, you will not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony.  All graduating seniors must be in the Holland Practice Rink, Baxter Arena by 8:30 am.   

Monday May 19, 2025: COMMENCEMENT 7:00pm, GRADUATES REPORT AT 5:30 pm. 

Graduates must report to the Holland Practice Rink, Baxter Arena, by 5:30 p.m. Parents/Guardians will not be allowed in the Practice Rink before or after commencement.  Attendance will be taken by 6:15 pm. Any student NOT present by 6:15 pm will be removed from the ceremony list. The commencement ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. The graduation ceremony will be simultaneously live-streamed online to accommodate any family and friends unable to attend in person. 

No great achievements are made without great sacrifices. You have worked hard and sacrificed much to get to where you are today. Seniors: by following these final instructions, you will graduate from a student to an alumnus of William Jennings Bryan High School and leave with a valuable tool to succeed in the future. Parents: you will have the satisfaction of knowing you helped your child to succeed. Please be sure to contact the school regarding any fines or for answers to any questions you may have.
