Omaha Public Schools is pleased to recognize the following staff and students for their academic, extracurricular and professional achievements.

• Bryan High senior Olivia Wallace whose play “Roses” was selected for presentation by the Great Plains Theatre Conference.
• Omaha Public Schools District Communications team for being awarded a 2023 Nebraska School Public Relations Association Gold Medallion for their work on the new OPS.org.
• All who took part in the opening celebration at Omaha Public Schools’ new school, Bluestem Middle, as our district prepares to welcome staff, students and families in August.
• Our elementary students for logging more than 1.8 million minutes of reading so far in our Summer Reading Challenge.
