Mrs. JoAnna Hale

PRINCIPAL

JoAnna Hale is the Principal at Beveridge Middle School. She has been with Omaha Public Schools since 2008. She has been a teacher, coach, curriculum specialist, and Teaching and Learning Consultant for the Omaha Public Schools. Mrs. Hale is originally from Sioux City, IA, married to her husband Michael, and they have two children. Mrs. Hale looks forward to continuing Beveridge Middle School’s tradition of excellence by ensuring every student is ready for high school and has instilled in themselves the traits of what it means to be Beveridge Ready: Be Kind, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe.

Mrs. Kristin Tipler

ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL - DATA / ACADEMICS

Mrs. Tipler is a loyal public educator and proud product of the Omaha Public Schools, where she attended Beveridge Middle School and Burke High School. She is a bulldog through and through! After teaching for a year in Japan, she returned to OPS in 2003 and has since served in multiple roles, including English teacher, CADRE associate, Lead Teacher for English Language Arts, and Secondary Reading Teaching and Learning Consultant. Outside of work, she and her husband enjoy supporting their children at sports events and spending time with their two dogs, Moose and Buster.

Mr. Chad Wachholtz

ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL - ATHLETICS / ACTIVITIES

Mr. Chad Wachholtz has been with Omaha Public Schools since 1993. Mr. Wachholtz has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His master’s in administration is from Concordia University. His career started in the classroom teaching Language Arts at Bryan Middle School. Mr. Wachholtz has been at Beveridge since 2001. Mr. Wachholtz has two boys who both graduated from Burke High School. In his spare time, Mr. Wachholtz enjoys playing golf and working around the house. His passions include Nebraska football and spending time with his family.

Mr. Anthony Aliano

DEAN OF STUDENTS

Tony Aliano is a Dean of Students at Beveridge Middle School. He has been with Omaha Public Schools since 2009 and began his career at Beveridge Middle in 2020. He was born and raised in Omaha. Mr. Aliano strives to build positive relationships with all students along with providing a safe and friendly learning environment. He does his best to help prepare students for the next chapters of their educational journey. He believes in self-advocacy as well as accountability. Mr. Aliano's door is always open, and he looks forward to helping guide and shape his students for future success.

Ms. Jillian Johnson

DEAN OF STUDENTS

Ms. Jillian Johnson started with Omaha Public Schools in the fall of 2023 as a Dean of Students. Previously, she was a High School Counselor for 14 years and has a passion for working with students and helping them find success in school. She has three daughters and a dog. She loves spending time going to her daughter's extra-curricular activities and spending time with her family. Ms. Johnson has lived in Omaha since 2010 and loves the community and all the opportunities that are available to families. She is proud to work at Beveridge and loves the supportive families!
