Welcome to Ponca Elementary School!

It is my privilege to welcome you to Ponca Elementary, home of the Raccoons.  I am Carl Bilotta and it is an honor to be the principal of Ponca Elementary.  I have been a member of the Omaha Public School district since 2021.  Previous to coming to Omaha, I was a Fourth and Fifth grade teacher in Frederick, Maryland and a school Principal in Raleigh, North Carolina.  The Ponca team is a highly experienced and skilled staff with a shared vision of building a community of students who will make a difference in the world, today and tomorrow.  Each day the Ponca staff happily open our doors and serve students in kindergarten through fifth grade.  I look forward to meeting each and every child and family this school year!
