Welcome to Bluestem Middle School, home of the Mighty Meadowlarks!  Bluestem opened to 6th and 7th grade students in August 2023.  The new Omaha Public Schools Middle School, located at 42^nd and X Streets, was completed in May 2023 as a part of the Phase 2 Bond in 2018.

Bluestem will offer athletic opportunities for our students, as well as a variety of clubs and activities.  In addition, we look forward to family involvement in our Bluestem Parent Group.  Please continue to check out our website for updates!
