• Leanna Johnston of Buffett Middle and Davis Middle for becoming Nebraska’s first school social worker to earn National Certification.
• North High senior Nayera Abdessalam for being recognized as Scholar Athlete of the Year on behalf of Building Omaha.
• Norris Middle for being one of 102 schools in the U.S. to win the Computer Science Leaders Prize through Code.org.
