PRINCIPAL

Shelly Burghardt has been an educator in the Omaha Public Schools since 1993. During that time, she served in both special education and general education settings before becoming an administrator in 2006. She considers every experience she's had in her career to be one that has taught her, stretched her, and empowered her to new levels of success; and that is exactly what she seeks for her students and staff on a daily basis...learning, growth, and achievement. 

Ms. Burghardt knows and cherishes the value of a strong school and family connection and, therefore, places a high priority on creating opportunities for all stakeholders to work together towards the shared goal of student achievement.

It is through this partnership of students, staff, families and communities working together that Forest Station Owls thrive and develop skills and memories that will last a lifetime.
