PRINCIPAL

I am the proud principal of Gifford Park Elementary School!   As the administrator of Gifford Park, I have over 16 years of experience as a classroom teacher at both the elementary and middle school level, and over 18 years as an administrator at the district and school level.  I feel blessed to lead Gifford Park and work with our excellent staff who put our students first.  My passion is also building relationships with the students, staff, and families that I work with every day. 

Gifford Park’s priority goals are: Creating a safe and welcoming family, student, and community-centered environment that meets the social-emotional and academic needs of EACH child EVERY day! We believe in the importance of high expectations for achievement, excellent attendance for staff and students, consistency with building-wide procedures and routines, and in the importance of building relationships and creating engaging and rigorous lessons that result in every child wanting to be at school every day.

We celebrate the diversity of our student population with over 385 students (Pre-K-6th grade) and over 24 languages spoken at Gifford Park.

Our Gifford Park Groundhogs are everyone’s children and students, as it truly takes a village to help every child excel to their highest ability.
