PRINCIPAL

My name is Jeff Rotherham, and I am the principal of No Excuses University (NEU) Field Club Elementary, home of the Falcons!

I started my career with the Omaha Public schools in 1993. I spent 12 years as a vocal music teacher in various schools and grade levels ranging from early childhood through 8th grade. I then made the move to teaching elementary technology in 2005. In 2016, I became Assistant Principal at Liberty Elementary, and in 2021 moved to Field Club as Assistant Principal. In 2024, I was named Principal of this amazing school community. I have loved every bit of my time in the Omaha Public Schools and learned something from every experience which has made me the person I am today.

I hold a Bachelor of Music Education (vocal/instrumental K-12) from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln; a Masters in Education Administration and Supervision from the University of Nebraska at Omaha; a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in technology from Peru State College; and an endorsement in English as a Second Language from Concordia University.

I’m married to a high school counselor and we have 3 rescue dogs. We also love to travel and ride our Harley-Davidson motorcycles every chance we get!

I look forward to working with all members of our NEU Field Club family to continue our quest for academic excellence. Remember, "College is not a dream, it's a plan."

Assistant Principal

My name is Danielle Bachmann, and I have been with the Omaha Public Schools since 2006. I began my career as a 3rd grade teacher. During my time as a 3rd grade teacher, I was the grade level leader, soccer coach, tutor, mentor, and cooperating teacher for student teachers. In 2016 I became the Instructional Facilitator at Fontenelle Elementary where I have worked closely with teachers to create lesson plans, identify curriculum needs, coach. I have also served as summer school principal at Fontenelle.

I am very much a team player, and I understand that to move mountains we must pull together to reach a common goal, and that goal for our NEU Field Club Falcons is college!

When I am not at school, I am usually found doing different activities with my family. I am married and have four children who keep me very busy outside of school.
