PRINCIPAL

I am truly blessed to be given the chance to lead Columbian!  The tradition of excellence is strong at Columbian, and we strive to  move the needle even further towards success.  I have had the pleasure of working in the Omaha Public Schools since 1996.  I started my career as a teacher at Minne Lusa where I also became the assistant principal.  I was then asked to lead Florence Elementary and later asked to lead Fullerton Magnet Center.  I achieved my undergraduate degree from Hastings College and have received a Master's Degree from Doane along with an Instructional Technology Certificate from UNO.  I use my expertise and experience to create a safe, encouraging and positive school that does all that is necessary to help every student reach their potential.
