PRINCIPAL

Mrs. Jones has been the Principal at Chandler View Elementary since 2019. Mrs. Jones began her career in the Omaha Public Schools in 2002 as a classroom teacher at Skinner Magnet Center, where she taught 3rd and 4th grades.  From there, she served as the Administrative Intern at Masters Elementary from 2008-2010 and was the Assistant Principal at Chandler View from 2010-2015. During that time, Mrs. Jones was also an Adjunct Professor in the Educational Leadership program at Doane College (now Doane University). Mrs. Jones began her principalship at Picotte Elementary in 2015, and proudly returned to lead Chandler View in 2019. 

Outside of school, Mrs. Jones enjoys spending time with her husband, family, friends and her dog, a Malshi named Lucy.  She enjoys being outdoors, traveling, shopping, baking and crafting.

Mrs. Heather Nelson has served as the Instructional Facilitator at Chandler View since 2018.
