Class of 2025: Complete the FAFSA in January

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now a graduation requirement in Nebraska. Seniors must complete it or opt out to receive their diploma.

What to do now:

Visit our FAFSA page for all the details. Create an account at studentaid.gov. Pull together the documents you’ll need and file your FAFSA.

“For FAFSA, it was pretty simple. I already had an account made a few weeks before it opened, and then I just sat down with my parents, and we got it all knocked out in about an hour.” - Liam Murphy, Burke High
