We offer countless advanced classes in Omaha Public Schools.

This summer, students can learn more about the classes, how to register and get support for success.

Join our Advanced Academics Summer Symposium. It’s a workshop for incoming freshmen through seniors.

Topics include:

• Managing a busy schedule
• Study strategies
• Writing tips
• Science skills
• Advanced class previews
• Preparing for exams

Choose the sessions that are most meaningful to you. Discussion groups include students currently taking advanced courses, and teachers who lead those classes.

• Who: All incoming freshmen through seniors thinking about advanced classes
• When: July 23 through 25, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Where: University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) Milo Bail Student Center
• Lunch is provided for all participants!
