Josue Pleitez Castellanos

Hello and welcome to Omaha Public Schools!

I am Josue Pleitez Castellanos. I am from San Salvador, El Salvador, which is located in Central America. I grew up in a small town called San Martin. English has been my favorite subject to learn since age five. During high school, I enrolled in English classes at Academia Europea. My native language is Spanish, and English is my second language. I do also speak basic French.

I have been working for Omaha Public Schools since 2022. I am happy to support our new families enrolling in our district. I know firsthand how challenging it can be to arrive in a new country and struggle with language barriers. I take great pride in serving our new families and want to assist them during their transition to set them on a pathway to success.
