All students transitioning to middle school will have an opportunity to attend Welcome Camp.

Dates:  June 6 - 9, 2023

Time:  7:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Welcome Camp is a summer program designed to help incoming 6th and 7th grade students to adjust to middle school.  It is a fun way to learn new study skills, make new friends, and learn how to be successful at Alfonza W. Davis Middle School.  Students will learn about the expectations in Middle School, learn to open a locker  and how to effectively use a daily agenda.  Students will also learn our daily routines, social skills in middle school and how block scheduling works.  Students will get a tour of Davis Middle School and get to participate in team-building activities.  We invite you to be a part of our Aviator Welcome Camp.
