Kindergarten

In order to be eligible for Kindergarten, your child must turn 5 years old on or before July 31, 2025. Enrollments will be completed online. Students must reside in the Omaha Public Schools attendance area. If you have any questions or need assistance with your registration, please call 531-299-0302 or email studentplacement@ops.org. 

A Proof of Address (POA) is required to enroll or update an address in the Omaha Public Schools. Acceptable documents (listed below) must have the name of the parent/guardian and be no older than 3 months.     

School Choice

All students are placed into their home attendance school. This is the only enrollment we can offer at this time. You can find that school by reviewing the Find My School tool and entering your address.

  • HHS Statements (dated)

Immunizations

Age-appropriate immunizations are required in accordance with Nebraska state law.
 
Immunization records must be submitted to the school prior to your child attending.
