PreACT

Students in grade 9 take the PreACT 8/9 and students in grade 10 take the PreACT. The students are administered the reading, English, mathematics and science subject area tests in the fall. Both PreACT 8/9 and PreACT provide practice for the ACT.  Each part of the test is timed. Students take the test during the school day. The PreACT 8/9 and the PreACT test results provide an estimated ACT score as well as additional information that can be used to inform instruction and guide students in course selection.
