ACT
Students in grade 11 take the ACT reading, English, math, science and writing tests each spring. The ACT meets the requirement that all Nebraska high school juniors take a college entrance exam. Each part of the test is timed. Students take the ACT during the school day. This exam replaces the Nebraska Student-Centered Assessment System (NSCAS) for grade 11 students. More information is available from the Nebraska Department of Education website.
