Traditions are a cherished part of the community and the District expresses an interest in maintaining those traditions which have a significance to the community. The graduation ceremony is considered an extracurricular activity and participation is a privilege.
Graduation is a formal event. Students are to use good judgment to this end. Caps and gowns are available for purchase. Students may adorn robes with sashes, and or braids and medals earned at previous District honor ceremonies during their senior year. Feathers and beadwork on mortar boards are allowed as long as the feathers and beadwork do not block the view of other graduates. Any questions or concerns in regard to the guidelines should be addressed through the Building Principal or Program Director.
