Gifted and Talented News

 

Welcome to the Gifted and Talented program at Crestridge. I have been in education for 35 years.  I have a BA degree in Elementary Education; an endorsement in Gifted Education and a Masters degree in Instructional Technology.   I am also, the Gifted and Talented facilitator at Masters and Boyd.   Students at each of my schools qualify for Gifted and Talented services by achieving high scores on CAT tests or by teacher nominations based on classroom performance. The students have a scheduled class once a week. Specialized G/T instruction consists of math, language arts and creative activities using the G/T framework.  Judging from student reactions, they enjoy the enriching curricular extensions.  Feel free to contact me at anytime with questions, comments, or concerns.
