Gifted and Talented Program

Welcome to the Gifted and Talented program!  I have been in education for 20 years.  I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Buena Vista University and an endorsement in Gifted Education from the  University of Iowa.  I am the Gifted and Talented facilitator at Belle Ryan, Ashland Park Robbins, Lothrop Elementary Schools.  Students at each of my schools qualify for Gifted and Talented services by achieving high scores on standardized tests or by teacher nominations based on classroom performance. The students have classes scheduled weekly in their areas of strength. Specialized G/T instruction consists of math, language arts and creative activities incorportating the G/T framework.  Students are engaged in high level, enriching curricular extensions. Feel free to contact me at anytime with questions, comments, or concerns.
