OPS Principals
Minimize

Dear Principals,

Because it is difficult for teachers to receive technology training and support during the school year, the IMS Technology Training Team will be visiting schools to provide one-on-one and small group help as needed. Help sessions are not meant to be full scale training workshops, but rather are to assist individuals with e-mail, web pages, interactive white boards, etc. The Team will spend half-days in schools beginning in September and October. Please consider three possible dates that would work for your school.

We will send a sign-up sheet to be posted the week before we visit allowing teachers to sign up for a time slot that is convenient for them. This will guide us when we come to your building. The time spent with trainers is volunteer only, we are not asking anyone to give up plan time unless they choose to.

Topics might include: FirstClass E-Mail, Teacher Web Pages, SMART Board, ACTIVBoard, Qwizdom, Microsoft Office, iMovie, Garage Band, Intro. to Mac OS X, Intro. to Windows, and more.

Thank you for your input. We look forward to providing you and your staff with technology support and training.

Dr. Daniel Bird, Training Supervisor
