Glynn Ross, Class of 1932
Ross is an opera director with international stature. Currently the director of Arizona Opera, Ross has also served as director of the San Francisco Opera House, 1951-60, and as the founding director of the Seattle Opera. He holds Germany's highest service award and has been knighted by the government of Italy. Ross has been a consultant for the Ford Foundation and a panelist for the Richard Tucker, Lauritz Melchior, and Metropolitan Opera Awards. He has also served on the Planning and Grants panels for the National Endowment for the Arts.
