The Norris Middle School Winter Instrumental concert was a wonderful success!  I am so proud of all of the students and I want to give a hearty thanks to everyone that came to watch.  Everyone worked so hard and everything came together wonderfully.  I can't wait for the next concert in May.  Bring it on!!!

Our concert is coming up on Monday, January 14th at 7 pm.  All participating students need to report to the band room (009) at 6:30.  Students must wear their Norris Orchestra shirts with dark or black pants and shoes.  This is a required event for all students enrolled in Intermediate or Advanced Strings.  The concert is free so bring the whole family!!!!

As the temperature gets colder by the day, it's important to remember good instrument care.  Instruments should not be left in the car for an extended amount of time as the cold temperatures can cause the wood to split.  Winter break is also a great time to get some practicing in and to play for your friends and family!
