CONTENT STANDARDS
01        Concept  7: The family is a constantly changing unit.
02        Concept  8: Peer relationships and their influences.
03        Concept  9: Puberty is a time of many changes.
04        Concept 10: Human reproduction involves many
                           responsibilities on the 
part of men and women.
05        Concept 11: Health care is the responsibility of each
                           individual.

Our G.R.E.A.T. program donates canned goods to the Omaha Food Bank. The Omaha Food Bank sends out a representative to collect our donations and thank the 7th graders for their contribution!!!!

G.R.E.A.T.

Our 7th graders are fortunate enough to have the G.R.E.A.T. Program this year. Officer Scott will work in the Human Growth & Development classes to reach all of our 7th graders here at Norris Middle School. Some of the things we will learn are:

  • The truth about gangs and violence.
  • Students' roles in their families, schools, and communities.
  • Goal-setting tips.
  • How to make G.R.E.A.T. decisions.
  • Communication skills.
  • Empathy for others.
  • Responding to peer pressure.
  • Anger Management.
  • How to resolve conflicts. 

     We also have a food drive every quarter. If you would like to donate please contact or !
