COMPUTER APPLICATIONS

This year 7th graders will be in Computer Applications for a trimester (12 weeks)! Emphasis is placed on mastering the use of the keyboard by becoming efficient and using proper technique.

In addition, students will use Microsoft Word and Microsoft Power Point to complete a variety of projects. A brief introduction of Microsoft Excel will be covered. The internet is used during class for educational purposes of looking up information and gaining new knowledge. Proper use of the internet is always expected.

Most work is done in class. Be expected to work during the entire class period! If you should miss class, you need to discuss with the teacher what you need to make up and when you can make it up. If you get behind in your work you can come in and work during ETC time and/or after school. Arrange a time with Mrs. Yelinek so that you can get your work made up.
