Course Description:  This course will focus on Art that reflects personal identity.


Content Standards: 

1: Apply media and techniques and processes

2:  Identify aesthetic issue of art in relation to history and culture

3: Use the critical process to assess the characteristics and merits’ of artworks.

4:  Compare visual arts to other disciplines




Course Requirements and Evaluation Criteria:
1.  Homework and quizzes                                                                                     10-25 points
2.  Criterion Referenced Tests CRTs (based on the content standards)            100 points


3.  Midterm Assessment                                                                                   100 points
4.  Projects                                                                                                              50-100 points
5.  Final Exam Activity                                                                                                   50 points

Grade Scale: 
A = 93 – 100%
B = 85 – 92%
C = 78 – 84%
D = 70 – 77%
F  = 69% or less
