Lights, Camera, Action: In this class students will learn what is entailed in creating a Public Service Announcement (PSA). They will write, produce and edit their own PSA. Understanding that a message can be told through a PSA is key to producing a quality piece. They will also create their own short play production to be performed in front of the class. They will learn performance techniques as well.
Nano Legends: This class uses an educational video game to teach cell biology. The class is also interspersed with lessons, quizzes and activities to support the information learned in the video game. The students will also create a project after researching a disease and/or famous scientist.
