Geometry

In geometry the students will be learning about Proofs, Parallel and Perpendicular Lines, Similarity of figures, Right Triangles, Pythagorean Theorem, Perimeter, Area, Volume, coordinate geometry, and Transformations. The students will have 7 CRT's that will test your student’s skills and knowledge over each topic listed above.

-First we will test over two-column proofs, indirect proofs, and paragraph proofs.

-Second we will test over parallelism and perpendicularity of two- and three-dimensional figures.

-Third we will test over concepts of similarity of various figures.

-Fourth we will test over Right triangles, Pythagorean Theorem, and Special Right triangles.

-Fifth we will test over formulas for measurement of perimeter, area, surface area, and volume

-Sixth we will test over Application of Coordinate Geometry.

-Seventh we will test over Transformation of two-dimensional figures in a plane.
