Hello, my name is Alyssia Wilkinson and this is my eleventh year with Omaha Public Schools.  Last year during the 08-09 school year was my first year as an Instructional Facilitator at Nathan Hale.  I spent the previous nine years at Bryan Middle School as a 7th grade Science teacher.

As the Instructional Facilitator, my job has many facets.  Some of my primary responsibilities are to increase student achievement and provide organizational and instructional leadership to teachers. With the importance of assessments, I work with both teachers and students to help our students achieve proficiency on CRT's and academic success in the classroom. Another responsibility is working with staff to align curriculum with best practices of instruction.  I am also the site coordinator for Making Middle Grades Work (MMGW) a network for Middle Schools across the nation.
