Decision Science
Course Purpose
The purpose of the Decision Science Course at Morton Magnet Middle School is to provide all students with the strategies needed to become better decision makers using the essential elements of the decision sciences framework (structure, chain).
All students will be granted a basic foundation in the process of decision making.
Students will be introduced to the decision process in a manner appropriate to their grade level.
Students will evaluate the quality of a decision and be able to apply the information outside this course.
Upon completion, students will be able to apply the decision science model to a specific problem and carry out the functions of making a decision.
Students will gain and utilize research skills that allow them to complete all six elements in the Decision Science model.
All students will be provided with a unique curriculum available only at Morton Magnet Middle School.
